New Appointment at Odour Control Company

Dr Sophia Georgaki has recently joined Odour Services International (UK) as Process Manger. The main focus of her work is to provide the Process Management function for Odour Services International Limited including the continued development of existing and future company technologies, research into new technologies, processes and applications and provide process and technical support to the Sales and Marketing Department as and when required.
Dr Sophia Georgaki has obtained her first degree in Chemical Engineering at South Bank University, UK, a Master of Science in Advanced Chemical Engineering at Imperial College, UK and a PhD in mass transfer modeling of odour control technologies at Cranfield University, UK where she investigated the application of hollow fibre membranes as a new technology for odour control. With over six years experience in odour control and with several published papers. She has worked as a process odour control engineer and odour specialist for MWH and Bord Na Mona. She has extensive experience in process design and commissioning of odour control plants, technical evaluations and project management.
