Environmental Firm Adds Middle East Office

Clean Air Engineering (CleanAir, USA) announced recently the opening of CleanAir Arabia Co. located in Jubail Industrial City, Saudi Arabia. CleanAir Arabia is an air emissions measurement company that is a joint venture between the National Laboratory Company Ltd. (MAAMEL) and CleanAir. It has been approved by the Saudi Arabian Government Investment Authority (SAGIA) and received its Commercial Registration in March.

“The growing number of industrial facilities being constructed and Saudi Arabia’s commitment to improved environmental standards has resulted in the need for more stringent emissions monitoring and stack emissions testing from high quality service providers”, said Mr. Kamal Al Juhani, MAAMEL’s Managing Director and CleanAir Arabia’s Chairman of the Board. “With the expertise of the founders, CleanAir Arabia will provide the highest quality process gas stream and stack emissions measurements in the region for a multitude of industries with a highly qualified, trained and well equipped staff.”

Key management positions are filled by two CleanAir Sr. Environmental Engineers: Eng. Jim Guenthoer, General Manager and Eng. Robert Pegnam, Technical Leader, who collectively bring over a combined 50 years of air emissions measurement expertise gained in the United States to this region. “Since relocating to Jubail this past March, our focus has been on completing our new facility’s renovations, relocation of personnel and equipment from the U.S., and the recruitment and training of local Saudi personnel to meet our Saudi goals”, said Jim Guenthoer. “With the Royal Commission of Jubail’s recent approval to begin performing tests I am pleased to say CleanAir Arabia is now operational.”
