The Early Bird Registration for “Save the Planet” is running till April 30th

The Conference:

Get acquainted with the latest developments in the sectors and find new business partners from South-East Europe at the event (29-31 May 2013, Sofia, Bulgaria).

The Conference program will accent on the technological innovations and best practices which can be successfully implemented and boost the local market.

Keynote speakers from the EC - DG Environment, EQAR, ACR+, ENEP, OVAM, etc. will engage delegates in stimulation discussions. Waste Administration; How to Prepare a Good Waste Reduction Plan, Incentives for Waste Reduction; Waste Collection & Separation; Waste Minimization Strategies; Agricultural, Landfill & Wastewater Biofuels, etc. are the main topics in the program.

Special attention will be paid to resource efficiency and recycling. Naemi Denz from the Verband Deutscher Maschinen-und Anlagenbau (VDMA) will make a presentation “From Landfill to Waste-to-Energy - State of the Art”. How to reduce disposal cost - the reply will be given by Heiko Schmidt from the German Association of Environmental Professionals (VNU).

The Conference format will be diversified will many parallel initiatives: Italian Workshop on Integrated Waste Management, Go Green to Environment 2013 - G2E 2013: Pre-scheduled business and technology transfer meetings and EU Funds for Regional Development in Bulgaria 2014 - 2020.

The Exhibition:
The visitors will have the opportunity to see the latest developments, to pick out new products and to make business deals with well-known companies. 64 % of the exhibitors are foreign companies from 14 countries which plan to launch their products or extend their network to the market of South-East Europe. The highlights of this year edition will be an Austrian Pavilion and the Hungarian National Participation. Technologies and equipment for waste collection and transport, treatment, disposal and recycling, waste-to-energy solutions, environmental consulting and management services will be presented at the Exhibition.
