Monitor Your Compressor Installation with New Mobile App
Oct 30 2012
Atlas Copco Compressors (UK) have recently launched a mobile app for smartphones and tablets enabling users to monitor compressors from anywhere remotely. The app has been called Elektronikon and is linked via controllers in the Atlas Copco compressors and dryers.
With the new app, Atlas Copco have also launched their new GA 30+ to 90 (and VSD) oil-injected screw compressor range. Koen Lauwers, Vice-President Marketing of Atlas Copco’s Industrial Air Division comments: “With the Elektronikon App, Atlas Copco takes user-friendly distribution of essential compressor room operation data to the next level.”
Real time data is sent via the Elektronikon app via an intranet connection enabling users to view data on their computer of via the app. Multiple compressors and dryers can be combined to view at once. The app enables users to monitor various details such as running hours, analogue inputs and running/stopped status amongst other things. Both the Elektronikon controller and the app are available in 32 languages.
The app has been designed with tablets and smart phone users in mind but also runs on other hardware devices. Customers with an existing Atlas Copco compressor with a Mk5 Elektronikon can use the app after updating their software too.
