New Oxygen Generators Provide Reliable and Cost-Effective Oxygen In-House
May 27 2014
BOGE (UK), the compressed air specialist, has launched a new range of oxygen generators that will save users money by providing a complete system for generating oxygen in-house. The new collection, which includes 0 3 P to 0 15 P and 0 3 PE to 0 15 PE generators, provides users with a safe and reliable solution for producing oxygen with proven adsorption technology. This process enables users to efficiently generate their own inexpensive and dependable supply of oxygen on site.
BOGE’s oxygen generators are beneficial to the water treatment industry. Oxygen is used in a wide range of processes in water treatment, such as carbon dioxide reduction, oxidation of iron and manganese found in water sources, ammonia and hydrogen sulphide reduction, and bacteria control. In-house oxygen production can often be significantly cheaper than having it delivered by an external gas supplier. Users are also able to continuously monitor purity levels, which can reach 90 to 95 percent, and guarantee the purity level is as high as the application requires.
Thanks to their modular design, BOGE’s new generators can be efficiently adapted and expanded to meet oxygen demand. Up to two expansion banks can be connected to each master bank and each bank can hold up to six individual modules. In total, up to 18 modules provide flexible oxygen generation of between 2.49 and 46.8 Nm3/h and, if necessary, the output can be increased to the required volume by adding additional complete systems.
Designed for safe and cost effective long term use, the new low maintenance oxygen generators deliver an excellent return on investment, with an estimated average payback period of less than three years in most applications. BOGE oxygen generators also reduce the safety risks associated with storing high pressure cylinders and handling oxygen bottles and, thanks to high quality components, minimise service costs and prolong product life.
