Water Services Expansion with Key Acquisition

Environmental Scientifics Group (ESG), specialist provider of testing, inspection and compliance services has acquired Waterwise Technologies to increase their water services available to clients. Waterwise Technologies is a specialist developer and manufacturer of specialist water treatment equipment.

This acquisition combines with ESG's (UK) take-over of Henley Water in 2011 and will increase the company's water services enabling them to offer a complete solution including design, build and installation of water systems.

Waterwise currently has more than 200 clients, including J Sainsbury Distribution Ltd, Kodak and the London Borough of Sutton, across a range of different market sectors. The company currently has a turnover of more than £2.5million.

This acquisition will also bring a whole new range of water treatment products into the UK market. The company’s former owners will remain with the business for the foreseeable future.
