Environmental Sustainability Through Technology At Enviro-Tech Phils `09

ENVIRO-TECH PHILIPPINES 2009 has already taken the country by storm, with the most influential industry trade buyers, key decision makers and entrepreneurs gearing up and marking their calendars for the greatest business exhibition of the year. The9^th International Total Environmental Management Technology, Air, Energy, Water & Waste Control System, Equipment and Services Exhibition will be held from October 7 – 10, 2009 at the newly constructed and world-class venue, SMX Convention Center, Manila under the banner of the Manufacturing Technology World series.  

The Philippines has taken major steps towards infrastructure development, manufacturing expansion and industrialization process as the demand for environmental equipment, products and services continues to rise. A recent study estimated that the Philippine market for environmental products, technologies and services is expected to grow 8 – 10% annually, reaching US$ 700 million over the next three years.

This development is mainly due to government and private-sector programs and projects that address pressing environmental problems such as urban air quality, water supply & distribution, water usage monitoring, sanitation and sewerage, solid waste disposal and industrial hazardous waste.

Last year, ENVIRO-TECH PHILIPPINES, achieved some very impressive and record breaking numbers that include 17,176 registered trade buyers in 4 days, 466 exhibiting companies from 26 countries, occupying 9,100 sq. meters of exhibition space and generating over US$31.75 million in reported on-site sales.
