Desinfinator makes a Splash into Wastewater

Hygiene and construction technology distributor, Interflow (UK), is in negotiations with senior specifiers at a number of UK water companies thanks to the company’s decision to exhibit at IWEX for the first time this year.

Interflow opted to use the exhibition as a platform to launch the newest products in its portfolio, the Desinfinator range of air purification and de-greasing units. Created in Finland and used widely by water companies in both Scandinavia and continental Europe, the Desinfinator uses nano-technology in a compact and cost-effective unit to remove H2S (hydrogen sulphide), ammonia and methane from the atmosphere and control odours. Interflow UK recognised the technology’s benefits to the waste water sector and has brought this revolutionary approach to air purification to the UK market as Desinfinator’s UK distributor.

Delegates visiting the company’s stand at IWEX were equally impressed by the technology and keen to find out more about the uses and benefits of the system, watching in-situ demonstrations on the stand and discussing some of the recent water industry installations with the Interflow team. As a result, Interflow is already in further discussions with several water companies and service companies working within the sector. The company also signed up a prominent reseller at the show for the Desinfinator degreaser system.

Desinfinator is one of a number of hygiene and building products that Interflow distributes and installs in the UK. The company also exhibited its DOYMA range of air and water tight service penetration ducts at IWEX, which are widely used to protect the fabric of buildings across all sectors in both new build and refurbishment projects.
