IFAT CHINA takes place from 4 to 6 May 2010 in the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC)

The dates for IFAT CHINA 2010 have now been fixed: the 4th International Trade Fair for Water, Sewage, Refuse, Recycling and Natural Energy Sources takes place from 4 to 6 May 2010 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in China. IFAT CHINA was originally scheduled to take place in July 2010, but it has now been possible to move it forward to May.
"In the interests of our exhibitors and at the request of industry, we have been working hard in recent months to get an earlier date in the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. A special bonus for our exhibitors and visitors is the fact that IFAT CHINA overlaps with the start of EXPO 2010, which opens on 1 May. As an event focusing on environmental solutions, IFAT CHINA is very much in tune with the motto of the World Exposition 2010, which is ’Better City, Better Life’’," explained Egetenmeir, a member of the Management Board of Messe München. Messe München is confident that the success story of IFAT CHINA will continue, not just because of this overlap with EXPO. At the last fair in 2008, a total of 362 companies from 25 countries – that´s 27 percent more than in 2006 – presented their products and services to around 10,500 visitors from 72 countries.
