Siltbuster Appoints New Managing Director

Siltbuster (UK) has appointed Adam Huckstep as Managing Director of its Siltbuster Construction Solutions business following considerable growth for the business. This new senior role will support the business’s focus on the specific needs of the construction and remediation sectors.

Siltbuster Construction Solutions is the UK’s leading authority on water treatment and silt pollution prevention for the construction industry.  Set up and run by experienced process engineers, the company provides an unrivalled range of technologies and practical solutions for the construction and environmental remediation industry to deal with all aspects of silt management and waterborne pollution prevention or control.

The nature of the construction industry means that Siltbuster Construction Solutions needs to be fast and dynamic to respond to urgent on site waste water treatment needs, requiring a high level of detailed and constructive communications between its engineers. Adam Huckstep’s appointment as Managing Director further strengthens the business’s ability to respond to the increasing demand from the industry and build Siltbuster’s client base.

As a Chartered Engineer, Adam Huckstep brings to the role a background in engineering management, with extensive experience in automotive and renewable energy. His skills are focussed on delivery and performance, allowing entrepreneurial companies to develop products whilst excelling in their offering to existing clients. Used to managing multi-site teams to deliver innovative engineering solutions to multi-million pound projects, Huckstep is well equipped to join the Siltbuster Construction Solutions team.
