Water/Wastewater
WWEM 2012 Exhibition to Show Wide Range of Technologies
Oct 31 2012
The organisers of WWEM 2012 (UK), the Water Wastewater and Environmental Monitoring event, have been struck by the enormous variety of companies that have signed up for the exhibition that will take place in Telford on 7th and 8th November (www.wwem.uk.com).
Andy Curtis from the Water Monitoring Association says he is “delighted to see so many WMA members participating, many of whom will be launching new products for monitoring water quality and flow,” adding: “It is also very pleasing to note the number of other technologies that will be on show covering just about everything that an instrumentation engineer would need.”
WWEM 2012 exhibitors will show the latest technologies in datalogging, wireless communications, process automation sensors, rugged PCs, pump controllers, dosing pumps, IP cameras and much more. In addition, the latest water management software will be demonstrated and visitors will be shown the latest advances in process optimisation.
There will be a number of live demonstrations of new monitoring equipment, especially for water flow and quality. Thermography experts at the Ashtead Technology stand will also provide live demonstrations, showing the ways in which infrared cameras can be employed in a range of applications.
The gas monitoring zone will be larger than before, featuring all of the market’s leading players, offering everything from air samplers and calibration gases to training courses and odour monitors. New portable and personal gas detectors will be launched in addition to monitors for dust, noise and biogas flow.
To complement the laboratory conference which will take place on Thursday 8th November, there will be a strong presence from the laboratory sector with the latest products and services in sampling, transport and tracking, laboratory analysis, laboratory instruments, laboratory management software and certified reference solutions.
For visitors that pre-register at www.wwem.uk.com, entry to the Exhibition and Workshops is free of charge, and also includes complimentary parking, food and refreshments. Entrance to the WWEM 2012 (CPD) conferences will cost £55 per day or £100 for both days.
Summarising, Andy Curtis says “The variety of technologies on show will mean there will be something for everyone and this year’s event will see a lot more product launches than usual, so it promises to be an exciting event!”
