Cleantech Innovate 2016 Finalists Announced: 36 Low Carbon Innovators to Present Their Ideas on 11th February 2016

ecoConnect CIC, the UK’s green industry business network, has announced the shortlist for its fourth Cleantech Innovate showcase, which takes place on Thursday, 11th February 2016 at the Royal Institution in London. 36 low carbon technology companies will be pitching to an audience of investors, buyers, industry specialists and support agencies.

Delegates can register on http://www.cleantechinnovate.com. Participating companies are from a variety of low carbon sectors, including renewable, energy storage, biofuels, manufacturing, transport and water treatment. They will present their ideas to a discerning audience: investors seeking new investment opportunities in the cleantech sector; corporate buyers looking for green solutions and partnerships; dealmakers from law and accountancy firms; and journalists covering the sector and its trends. A full list of presenting companies can be found at http://bit.ly/1NcYww0.

Cleantech Innovate is organised by ecoConnect CIC, the UK’s green industry business network, which connects individuals and companies working in the low carbon sector by providing essential links to investment, business support and industry expertise.

Cleantech Innovate 2016 features the very best of commercial low carbon innovation from the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland and - for the first time - Switzerland, thanks to headline partner, the Swiss Federal Office of Energy. Mr Walter Steinmann, Director of the Swiss Federal Office of Energy, said: “We are delighted that Switzerland will be represented by six outstanding clean technology companies. ABB Secheron, Bluetector, InnovaRadio, Airlight Energy, Designergy and Climeworks are all great examples of the thriving Swiss clean technologies sector. The UK and Switzerland are important trading partners, and clean technologies provide exciting opportunities to further intensify the close economic partnership.”

Robert Hokin, Co-Founder of ecoConnect CIC, said: “Cleantech is a dynamic and growing sector, worth over £120 billion to the UK alone and an area of the economy expected to maintain positive growth rates for the future. It is also a key employment area. We are proud to enable the sector’s best innovators to present directly to an audience of investors, buyers, industry specialists and support agencies.”
Cleantech Innovate London takes place on Thursday, 11th February 2016 from 8.45 am until 8 pm (including an evening reception) at The Royal Institution of Great Britain, 21 Albemarle Street, London W1S 4BS. Registration for delegates is now open via http://www.cleantechinnovate.com.
