World Efficiency Solutions Showcases Innovative Approaches to Sustainable Development

World Efficiency Solutions, the leading international event for sustainable, resource-efficient and low-carbon solutions, will take place from 17 to 19 October 2017 in Paris. The event, which is being organised by Reed Expositions, will combine a unique community platform for networking and the exchange of best practice with a conference, exhibition space and workshops.

Climate change and resource depletion increasingly affect all regions of the world. Businesses, institutions, policymakers and civil society organisations are searching for concrete and affordable solutions to these challenges. World Efficiency Solutions will bring together innovative approaches, technology and projects from across a range of sectors – including energy, transportation, construction and urban planning – to create a market place for ways to drive sustainable, resource-efficient and low-carbon growth.

World Efficiency Solutions will also host a summit, in partnership with World Climate Ltd; an exhibition of multi-sectoral solutions with PEXE - The French Cleantech Network; and a space for training, featuring new tools and practices. The summit will feature plenaries, parallel sessions and workshops, while several side events have also been scheduled, including the 16th Meeting of Syntec-Ingénierie and the 2nd HQE International Summit of the Alliance HQE-GBC association. The WE Connect community platform will provide participants with access to contacts, expertise, training, innovative solutions and examples of best practices.

In 2017, World Efficiency Solutions will focus in particular on five key themes: Clean and accessible energy; Responsible production and consumption; Green infrastructure and mobility; Sustainable cities and territories; and Conservation and restoration of natural environments.

World Efficiency Solutions aims to build a broad community of public- and private-sector actors and experts from all over the world who share the same objective: to build a more sustainable economy. The event is the leading international forum for
