Innovative Pump Technology Attracts Visitors to IFAT and Raises Expectations for ACHEMA

Jun 13 2012

NETZSCH Mohnopumpen GmbH's (Germany) innovative products have again attracted numerous visitors to the stand at IFAT Entsorga this year. The Bavarian pump manufacturer presented its state-of-the-art technologies in the field of progressing cavity pumps for the environmental and energy sector and a world first with the TORNADO T2 rotary lobe pump.

The number of customers visiting the stand has again increased. The innovative products for the environmental and energy sector were enthusiastically received. The TORNADO T2 rotary lobe pump was shown for the first time at the trade fair and impressed with the oil-free, synchronised belt drive, which therefore no longer requires maintenance, the compact design and the completely reworked pump chamber. All areas of the pump's performance have been significantly improved in comparison to conventional rotary lobe pumps.

In addition, the company presented the improved stator concept, iFD 2.0. It is now even easier to fit and remove NETZSCH's two-part stator. The special shape reduces the starting and operating torques of the progressing cavity pump and so increases energy efficiency, which also means less environmental impact. The NEMO M-Champ and the NEMO C.Pro dosing pump, which is now available with a pumping capacity of up to 1,500 l/h, also both follow the ease of service concept.

NETZSCH's motto is always to develop the best pump for each application for its customers in different sectors. In this respect, the trade fair team is looking forward to presenting the next highlight at ACHEMA in hall 8.0, stand C 27: the TORNADO T2 fully metal pump, which has been specially developed for the requirements of processing facilities in a wide range of industries.
