SUEZ welcomes Mitch Donnelly as UK Digital Solutions Managing Director

SUEZ, proudly announces the appointment of Mitch Donnelly as Managing Director for Digital Solutions in the UK. Mitch will spearhead an era of digital transformation for SUEZ, marking a renewed commitment from the company to prioritise and advance innovative solutions for the UK water industry. As an experienced C Suite leader in water services and energy industries for over 20 years, Mitch brings with him a wealth of experience in leading large, complex, international, and cross-functional teams. In particular, he has had extensive involvement and responsibility for technology development in smart metering, AI, and digital solutions. In his new role with SUEZ, Mitch brings a fresh perspective and a track record of turning complex challenges into strategic wins in the digital solutions landscape. He will be actively leading the way in delivering a comprehensive range of digital services such as the AQUADVANCED® suite, Satellite Leak Detection services, ON’Connect™ Smart Metering, OptimizerTM, and AssetAdvancedTM. With a career as analyst that began in 1998, Mitch subsequently held key roles in National Grid and British Gas. He has had notable accomplishments in integrating business processes and systems. As Head of UK Energy Settlements, he was responsible for fulfilling industry code compliance and performance, managing supplier agents, and implementing Project Nexus, the UK gas settlement reform programme that upgraded the UK’s gas infrastructure. Mitch was instrumental in steering British Gas through the smart metering revolution in energy, holding key roles responsible for the UK’s largest rollout of this technology. Additionally, he established strategic partnerships with vital industry players including meter manufacturers, installation providers, and data service companies. “I’m incredibly excited about this opportunity to join the UK’s leading digital solutions provider in the water industry.
