Partnership Deal Announced for Solar Inverters
Jul 27 2012
Evergreen PV (UK) have announced a partnership with Samil Power, solar inverter manufacturers. Evergreen PV are known for being one of the largest importers and distributors of solar PV Kits in the UK. This deal means that Evergreen will supply Samil Power's inverters into the UK market.
Commenting on the deal, James Woollard, Managing Director at Evergreen PV, says: “We’re delighted to be in partnership with Samil Power. They are fast becoming recognised as one of the world leaders in solar inverter technology. Their products are of the highest quality, and we’re looking forward to building a successful working relationship.”
Samil Power can boast one of the largest research and development teams in the world. The quality of their inverters is proven by the fact that over 100,000 homes use them now.
Samil Power currently offers three different grid-tied inverters: The 1-5kW SolarRiver series for residential projects, the 10-17kW SolarLake series for commercial projects, and the 100-500kW SolarOcean series for large-scale solar PV Plants.
The Photon Laboratory tested one of Samil Power's inverters last year (the SolarRiver SR4K4TLA1). After this test Photon Laboratory described it as the 'best inverter produced in Asia' and also one of the ‘best products in the 5 kW power class.’ Samil Power have achieved similar recommendations for their other products too.
Justin Claxton, Managing Director at Samil Power UK, says: “We’ve spent a lot of time developing our products, and therefore are very particular in who we choose to supply them to. What we have is a very good product at a very good price, with low production costs. This gives us a massive advantage in the UK market where investors of residential and commercial solar schemes, are looking for very good alternatives to their traditional brands.”
He continues: “We’re really pleased to be working with Evergreen PV. They are an exciting young company, who has similar work ethics to our own, these being a strong commitment to high quality, customer service and support.”
Samil Power has production plants in China and more than 10 branches worldwide. One factory occupies 33,000m2 (approximately 8.23 acres) of land, while another, approximately six times larger in size, is under construction. Samil Power also has two R&D centres which are about 10,000m2 in total.
James concludes: “Samil Power is a fantastic company that is growing rapidly. We’re very proud to be a chosen supplier. With the Samil Power support and technology behind us, I believe this gives us the competitive edge, and provides our customers with the best possible solar solutions out there.”
