Renewable Energy Firm at the Sharp End of the Market
May 01 2014
A renewables firm taking the industry by storm is celebrating a successful start to a partnership with European company Sharp.
Sharp has announced this month that Solarlec (UK), which has offices in Lancashire, Cumbria and Devon, was its highest achieving domestic solar panel provider in the UK over the last six months - the first phase of the two companies' partnership.
Solarlec installed 3,462 Sharp solar panels from October 2013 to the end of March 2014, amounting to a turnover of 553,000 EUROS - as well as fitting hundreds of similar systems designed by a range of other leading global PV manufacturers.
Andrew Watts, Sharp UK's solar residential sales accounts manager, said: "Our thanks and appreciation goes out to everyone at Solarlec for their support - we look forward to continuing to work together."
Solarlec director Nick Keighley said: "It's a privilege for us to offer Sharp products to our customers as they really are pioneers in the industry in terms of technology, performance and service.
"It's no surprise Sharp's ultra-efficient solar panels have been hugely popular with our technology-savvy customers across the UK - Solarlec staff work hard to do these fantastic products justice for our customers, saving them as much money as possible on their energy bills. The Sharp panels also come with a fantastic easy payment plan that really makes solar panels affordable to everyone."
