Aug 31 2011
Free registration for RWM in partnership with CIWM, the UK’s biggest recycling and sustainability exhibition, is now live at www.rwmexhibition.com
The three day exhibition takes place at Birmingham’s NEC from Tuesday 13 to Thursday 15 September. It is the first since the Recycling & Waste Management (RWM) and Futuresource shows merged to create a single leading event for sustainable waste management and recycling.
By registering in advance, visitors can make sure they receive the latest information about the show including a sneak preview of what’s going on in the event’s exclusive visitor guide. In addition, pre-registered visitors will automatically gain fast track entry beating the queues on the day.
The free-to-attend exhibition will bring over 600 exhibitors under one roof, with leading names showcasing the latest products and services, from plant, vehicles and equipment to advice on how effective waste management can help cut business costs. Visitors will see over 200 completely new exhibitors for 2011 and around 150 international organisations.
In addition, visitors can find out about the latest technology innovations, policy and regulatory developments and examples of best practice through the three day seminar programme, providing access to over 90 speakers in 72 seminars. The programme will feature industry’s largest collection of free content covering Technology & Innovation, Commerce & Industry, Local Authority, Energy and Communications issues and has been fully accredited by CIWM for CPD hours.
This year organisers at RWM in partnership with CIWM have bought to you some of the industry’s greatest and most renowned expert speakers in an exclusive Leaders’ Forum Keynote Theatre. Special guest speakers include former director general of the CBI and Minister of State for Trade and Investment Lord Digby Jones, journalist and environmentalist Lucy Siegle, and expert environmental advisor Jonathon Porritt CBE. Other guest speakers lined up to provide comment include Jean Dominique Mallet, CEO of Veolia Environmental Services, Ian Goodfellow, chairman of the ESA, Liz Goodwin, chief executive of WRAP, Barry Dennis, director general of the ESA and president of CIWM, and Steve Lee, chief executive of CIWM.
