Waste Management
Cleaning Specialist Shortlisted for Award
Jan 09 2013
A venue, event and corporate cleaning specialist has been shortlisted for a prestigious industry award for its contribution to the environment.
Ryans Cleaning (UK) has been nominated in the ‘Waste Management of the Year’ category at the Event Production Show 2013.
The annual awards, which celebrate the achievements of companies which deliver events from across the UK, will be judged by nine of the industry’s most high-profile professionals.
The waste management category will recognise the ‘vital green contributions’ made to the event sector. Winners will be announced at glittering black tie awards dinner, which attracts around 600 guests, at the Royal Lancaster Hotel on February 5.
In addition to attending the awards, Ryans Cleaning will also be exhibiting at the event showcase which takes place at London Olympia.
David Chell, managing director at Ryans Cleaning said: “We have forged a strong reputation over many years for the way we tackle major events and manage waste accordingly, so it’s pleasing to be recognised and shortlisted.”
In 2012, Ryans Cleaning provided services to the London Olympics including BT London Live, the Queen’s Jubilee in Hyde Park and the British Formula 1 Grand Prix at Silverstone.
Ryans Cleaning services the requirements of fixed venues, international events, trade shows and exhibitions as well as commercial, office and industrial premises in the UK and Ireland.
The company will be hoping to showcase its services to a host of exhibition visitors from sporting events, festivals, theatrical events and agricultural shows. The success and growth of Ryans has allowed the firm to expand into new markets with new offices in Manchester, Birmingham and Dublin.
